Tourbit Aerospace Cocktail Mixer

Welcome to Tourbit Aerospace! This get together is held bi-monthly as our way of getting to know our future passengers and answer any questions you may have about commercial spaceflight. Get a chance to meet our pilots and crew, as well as company founder, Skyler Shane.

Commercial Space Flights

Your journey begins with a pre-flight medical check to ensure that the flight's physiological changes will not adversely affect you. (Early studies indicate that the majority of applicants will not be restricted from space flight by health or fitness considerations.) Next, you will need to attend each of our three training courses for pre-flight preparation. After that, your reservations are made!

Our flights are launched from our main facility in Southern California . You will board the Icarus 1023, which is attached to the mothership, NGT-302. Once pre-flight preparations and checks have been successfully completed, the launch is a “go”.

NGT-302 rocket boosters fire up and are launched, carrying the Icarus 1023 just above the Earth's atmosphere to a sub-orbital level. NGT-302 breaks off and the engines are powered down, leaving the Icarus 1023 spacecraft in a relaxing state of quiet. It is at this point that passengers are encouraged to remove their safety harnesses to fully enjoy and experience four minutes of zero gravity and the astounding view of Earth from space.

The pilot will announce that it is time to return to your seat and reapply your safety restraints for the ride back to Earth. You will experience the g-forces as the Icarus 1023 begins its descent and is glided safely back to the planet's surface.

Safely landed, you and your fellow space tourists are then welcomed to return in the evening to the Induction Ceremony. This dinner celebration graces each new space explorer with a bottle of champagne, a pin (an honorary set of gold Icarus Wings) and a complete video of the experience aboard the Icarus 1023.

Highlights

Weightlessness
We have spent our entire lives bound to the Earth's surface by the force of gravity.

Altitude Exposure
As we leave Earth's surface and the spacecraft gains altitude, so our circulatory and respiratory systems need to adjust.

High G Exposure
The flight into space is a fantastic but rapid journey through Earth's atmosphere.
