SAN FRANCISCO , Calif. - Nov. 20, 2005 - NEVEC , a leading worldwide technology corporation, today announced a new partnership with Tourbit Aerospace to develop a program for the transportation of terraforming and colonization supplies.
Tourbit Aerospace is developing low-cost manned and unmanned orbital and sub-orbital spacecraft for commercial, governmental, and military applications. Together, NEVEC and Tourbit have already sent several unmanned launches to a new planet (dubbed E.D.N.), carrying supplies such as food, medical supplies and equipment necessary for the initial phase of regional terraforming.
Ultimately, Tourbit and NEVEC plan to use the low-cost orbital spacecraft to open up Earth orbit and potential space stations for commercial and industrial development. This is expected to result in the creation of a new orbital and lunar industrial zones, and the emergence of new space industries.
Tourbit is currently refining their recently developed orbital spacecraft. They are designated the Icarus 1023 and the NGT-302. The manned Icarus 1023 will be used in Tourbit's orbital tourism operations.
